What is inadequate treatment?

For example, children can make a claim at any point until their 21st birthday. You also won’t face a time limit if you’re making a claim on behalf of someone who lacks the mental capacity to claim for themselves – unless they regain capacity. In that situation, they will have three years from that date in which to claim for themselves.
