Miss P Awarded £10,000 After She Fell and Chipped a Bone in Her Foot

Miss P was enjoying an evening at the cinema with her partner. She realised she needed to visit the toilet so she got up and started to walk down the steps.

The lighting was particularly dim, though, so she was unable to see exactly where she was stepping. Miss P fell down the steps and hurt her foot. She was later informed that she had chipped a bone in her foot, as well as suffered tendon damage.

Following her fall, Miss P found that she was having problems walking, could not drive and had to resort to taking painkillers almost every day to deal with the discomfort she was in.

She felt she needed justice for the personal injury she had suffered, so she went online and searched for help. She found First4Lawyers and got in touch.

After we took some initial details over the phone, we decided that she likely had a strong claim for compensation. We put her in touch with a solicitor specialising in slips, trips and falls, who took on her claim on a No Win No Fee basis.

Miss P’s solicitor went on to help her claim £10,000 in compensation for her injuries. Her solicitor also ensured she went to see a specialist musculoskeletal doctor to aid her recovery.

Discussing the service we provided her, Miss P said: “I would definitely recommend First4Lawyers. I felt supported and they kept me well informed and they were very honest about the possible outcome of my claim.”
