Mr O Awarded £1,500 After an Accident at Work

Mr O was taking a break at work when he leaned back in his chair. Unfortunately, the chair broke and threw him backwards, causing him to suffer an injury to his back.

While he stopped himself from falling on the floor, the break jolted his back and left him with muscular damage to his lower back, which continues to cause discomfort, particularly as Mr O enjoys regular exercise.

Before his accident at work, Mr O visited the gym most days and took part in regular sporting activities. Since he was injured he has had to strengthen his back to allow him to play sports and exercise again. Driving is also a problem for him during long journeys.

Due to the lasting nature of his injuries, Mr O decided to contact First4Lawyers after being recommended by a friend. After calling us, our advisors determined that he likely had a personal injury claim and put him in touch with one of our solicitors specialising in accidents at work.

His solicitor took his case on in a no win no fee capacity, meaning Mr O paid nothing upfront and there was no risk involved as he wouldn’t have had to pay anything out if his claim was unsuccessful.

However, Mr O received £1,500 after his solicitor’s fight for justice. He says he would describe his experience with First4Lawyers as “informative, respectful and organised”.

If, like Mr O, you’ve had an accident at work, we could help you get the compensation you deserve. Call us on the number at the top of the screen to find out more or simply start your claim here.
