Job Location

First4InjuryClaims, Permanent House, 1 Dundas Street, Huddersfield, West Yorkshire HD1 2HE. Located in Huddersfield town centre, we are conveniently located close to the motorway network and within walking distance of the railway station meaning we are within easy commuting distance of Leeds, Wakefield, Sheffield, Bradford, Dewsbury, Halifax and Manchester.

About the Role

Reporting to the Senior Legal Practitioner, you will be responsible for RTA claims from inception to settlement within the MOJ, and OIC portal. The role requires you to have extensive knowledge of dealing with personal injury claims through the MOJ portal where liability is admitted, including Stage 3 litigation.


  • Handling RTA claims from inception to settlement within the MOJ Portal and OIC Portal
  • Providing expert advice and industry leading levels of customer service
  • Accurately assessing and valuing personal injury claims, including general and special damages ensuring the right outcome is obtained for our customers
  • Drafting schedules of loss and court documents
  • Able to competently handle claims within the MOJ Portal including Stage 3 litigation
  • Confident negotiator
  • Has an understanding of the claim process outside of the MOJ Portal and is able to identify litigation opportunities
  • Meeting realistic commercial expectations
  • Pro-active management of caseload
  • Delivering guidance and support to junior members of the operation

Candidate Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience of handling RTA personal injury claims within the MOJ portal is essential
  • Has previously worked in a volume law firm is desirable
  • Organised and accurate attention to detail is essential
